The aim of WP1 is to analyse and propose a complete solution for the project taking into consideration the main challenges to overcome: -The need from the business point of view, which are mainly related to how to make the most of the data available to trigger added value and information from its insights, analyzing which kind of answers the business is waiting for-How to gather, store and manage data to be consistent and reliable for performance assessment -How the developed solution is adaptable enough to fit the variety of topologies and configurations in the PV industry.
The main objective of WP2 is to analyze, design and develop tools ready to clean and correct the data gathered from sensors and SCADA systems, in order to be processed by the business based tools. Three-steps are considered:-Evaluate quality of the data -Making reliable data from correction of inconsistencies and quality optimization -Filling data gaps from communication problems (or others).
WP3 deals with the design and development of tools for increased productivity of PV renewable assets through advanced algorithms for identifying inefficiencies in assets. These tools will detect and identify anomalies and failures and will provide prediction of incidents. All these tools will be validated under controlled conditions based on real data from PV plants.
WP4 aim is to be alerted by the developed algorithms, about the potential failures that may occur on the plant and take the necessary corrective actions as early as possible to minimize power losses or equipment damages. The developed algorithms will provide valuable information about the probable failure source (i.e. the type of fault). By utilizing these algorithms as a maintenance Decision Support System, it is possible to maximize the PR and minimize system downtime and O&M costs.
The main objectives of WP5 are:- To integrate all the technological elements developed in the project as a global solution - To technically and from the business point of view validate all the solutions proposed and developed in the project.
WP6 covers the project management, dissemination and exploitation activities. More specifically, the project management will be conducted in order to coordinate the technical efforts and outputs of the partners. WP6 also deals with the coordination between the related WPs and activities. Dissemination and exploitation tasks will be developed too, for the promotion of the project achievements and of its results.
